I personally love pairing the MAC Brave shade with dark smoky eyes and it will be perfect for any evening makeup but it also looks great with the no makeup makeup looks as it will be a perfect MLBB shade. If are looking a shade similar to this, then you can try the MAC Twig Lipstick as it is tad darker. If you have already bought this shade but found it too pale for you, I would recommend using a lip liner like the MAC Soar or MAC Whirl to line the lips to get the best out of this lipstick.

The MAC Brave Lipstick shade will be best suited for those with light to medium skin tones and will probably wash out medium plus to dark skin tones. It keeps the lips well hydrated and it wears off evenly and doesn’t stain the lips as it wears off.

The MAC Brave Lipstick lasts on me for around 3 to 4 hours with light snacking but it won’t last a full blown meal. The MAC Brave Lipstick has a really creamy and smooth texture, it glides onto the lips oh so effortlessly and goes on opaque in a single swipe which is amazing. If you have either one of these you could give the other one a skip without having a second thought.Īlso Read: MAC Taupe Lipstick Review MAC Brave Review I find this shade to be quite similar to the MAC Cosmo Lipstick. The MAC Brave is a beigy pink with slight mauve undertones and has a satin finish to it. Like all the MAC Lipsticks this one also has the subtle vanilla fragrance to it which I really like. The cap clicks shut so it is easy to carry around in a purse without having to worry about it opening in the middle of the day. The MAC Lipsticks has a weight to it so it is easy to figure out the fake ones from the real lipsticks. The MAC Brave Lipstick comes in a sleek black and silver bullet packaging which is the regular type of MAC packaging that is super sturdy and also travel friendly. MAC Brave Lipstick is described as a pink-beige with white pearl and has a satin finish. If you’re someone who is having a tough time to find the right shade of nude which isn’t too brown or terracotta then this shade might be your next best friend. Today’s review is going to be the MAC Brave Lipstick. One thing that is for sure by wearing this as an all over lip colour you won't have to continually apply - one careful application in my experience stays put for a good four to five hours with no smearing, smudging or feathering.MAC Brave Lipstick Review, Dupe, Swatch & Price What I will say is that MAC Whirl is a beautiful shade and I do think close if not indeed the shade Kylie Jenner has been rocking as of late.
If I am being entirely honest this is a flat matte and very akin to MAC's Ruby Woo in terms of formula - if you find that too drying then of course skin and if you like the colour but fancy something a little more hydrating a slick of gloss or lip balm should easily remedy that. By stretching the skin I find it is easier to fill in evenly.
What I tend to do is line the outline of my lips then smile as fully as I can with my mouth closed to fill in the rest of my lips. Being a lip liner and a matte one at that MAC Whirl is pretty dry and does require patience to apply as it can appear a little patchy.
If you are looking for something similar, cheaper albeit it a little more pink in tone I would recommend Rimmel East End Snob Exaggerate Lip Liner.
One thing I must point out is that my natural lip shade is fairly light so most shades show up true - if you have pigmented lips this may not be the case. MAC Whirl is fairly neutral toned and as it is not light or ashen in tone it should suit most complexions. MAC Whirl is bet described as a deep pink tinged brown but MAC refer to it as a Dirty Rose which I guess is not world's apart.
